1) Full Roof Inspection
We inspect the entire roof, not just the ridge caps, then show you exactly what we find with photos and a detailed report. If you don’t need a full repoint, we’ll tell you.
2) Old Mortar Removed
Cracked or crumbling pointing is removed carefully. We prep the area properly to make sure the new compound sticks and holds.
3) Re-bedding If Needed
If the caps have shifted or the bedding underneath is damaged, we’ll fix that first. No point repointing over an unstable base.
4) Apply Flexible Pointing
We use a high-performance flexible pointing compound. It can move with your roof without cracking and stands up to Carrum Downs’ mix of hot days and wet winters.
5) Final Check
Once we’re done, we check every ridge cap to make sure your roof is watertight, solid, and storm-ready.
